SIXTEEN CHEFS. ONE CHAMPION OF THE STREETS.
Hosted by OOH and Dine Out magazines, this action-packed one-day event searches for the UK’s most talented and creative street food chefs from across the out-of-home market, including: street food traders and group or independent fast casual restaurants.
To enter the British Street Food Championship, entrants will have to submit a recipe for their signature dish which they will have to prepare on the day of the awards with their own ingredients. Our judges select the best and most creative street food dishes from the multitude of online entries.
The 16 finalists chosen to compete in the Street Food awards will be asked to prepare their signature dish and technical dish on the day. The technical street food dish will comprise of sponsored products.
Our panel of street food award judges will score all 16 chef dishes on the day with a prerequisite criteria list.
The winners of the Street Food Championships will be announced at the evening reception to an audience of over 200 guests and street food enthusiasts. Where the technical dish winner and signature dish winner of the Street Food Championships will be awarded respectively.
Suppliers will have an opportunity to sponsor and showcase their products throughout the street food day competition and evening reception.
